On the 21 September an article written by journalist Simon Parke was featured in the online version of the Daily Mail newspaper. In the article which bears the headline 'Remember that cute little cat you patted on holiday in Rhodes? It's got six weeks to live' Simon writes about a recent holiday to the popular Greek island. He reports on how the vast number of stray cats are poisoned when the tourists leave.
