KALI

Kali was rescued in July 2003, during my brief visit to Halkidiki, northern Greece. Found by chance, she was painfully thin and was being pursued by 3 large sheep dogs, as she was in season. She ravenously ate the large tin of dog food I gave her, but that was hardly going to make much difference to her by the following day.

One thought followed another .... if I could find somebody who would take care of her until she could be brought into the UK for rehoming, her future would be secured.

As it turned out, things worked out better than expected and Kali arrived in the UK on 5 April, along with 5 other 'Greekies', all of whom had homes waiting for them. As for Kali ... she decided to become the seventh member of the 'Jones gang'.
