In memory of Lefka
Her so called ‘owner’ had tied her to a fence using a piece of wire. She managed to free herself but in doing so she sliced open her neck. The vet she was taken to was doubtful as to whether he could save her, but amazingly he did. On the 27th of August Lefka (as she had been named) arrived at her foster home in Holland. Everyone was hopeful that she would continue to make progress and recover from her injuries. That same night Lefka's foster carers took her to a vet as her health had deteriorated. The outcome from tests showed kidney failure. |

Everyone was hopeful that it was just a relapse from which she would recover and she received daily infusions. However, on Monday 7th of September Lefka had to be put to sleep. It just wasn’t meant to be! Her kidney’s were unable to function and there wasn’t any hope she would get better. RIP sweet angel. You will never be forgotten......
